Beave Releases His New EP, 'Birthday Beats 2'

19 year old, Essex producer, Beave, has already had a few of big releases on Tackle Records this year including 'Too Much' featuring Bethany Lamb, his collaboration with English producer Nick Tee which gathered support from the likes of Tough Love and their record label GetTwisted Records, a sub label of Island Records (Universal).

Well now Beave is back with a bang to celebrate his 19th birthday which was on Saturday, the 6th of Febraury, with the release of his brand new EP entitled, ‘Birthday Beats 2’. It’s a six track EP and every single track brings something different and fresh to the table. Having spoken to Beave about the EP, he confirmed “It’s a new sound I’m looking to push out there with lots of Hip Hop, Disco and Soul influence.”

You may recognise one of the tracks on ‘Birthday Beats 2’ as it had previously been released – Beave’s bootleg of Jeremih’s ‘Birthday Sex’. A couple of other tracks we’re really loving from the EP are ‘yes/no’, which samples a bit of Justin Bieber, and an awesome, chilled remake of Destiny Child’s ‘Say My Name’. And if all you want is house music then Beave has catered for you too with a deep and bassy track which brings Just Kiddin’s ‘Thinkin About It’ back to life!

Although this EP is different to Beave’s usual releases, we are completely behind it and are pleasantly surprised with the outcome. As mentioned earlier, we spoke to Beave about this release and in the same conversation, he told us there might just be a big collaboration to watch out for soon. He also jokingly added “Birthday Beats 3 out next year,” but we already can’t wait for it!
